Conmemorativo is produced from fruit sourced in the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation which is nestled in the southeast facing hillsides of the Salinas Valley south of Monterey. The wine displays the dark brooding style for which the area is known. Lovely brown spice and fruit aromas of the wine, lead to the textured mouth feel, while the firmly structured black plum and dark cherry concentrated fruits mingle with the fine grained tannins leading to a lengthy finish on the wine.
