2011 HALL"T Bar T Ranch" Alexander Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Our T Bar T vineyard provides idyllic soils, sun aspects, and microclimate to promote a tropical, mineral-rich expression of Sauvignon Blanc. In the vineyard, each cluster and every shoot of the vine is meticulously brought into balance so we can be confi dent the exact character of flavor, texture and aroma is achieved. In the winery, I choose to barrel ferment the juice, keeping a watchful eye on each barrel throughout fermentation. This wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation, nor is it fined or fi ltered. The result is as genuine an expression of our T Bar T vineyard as can be made.

Straw in color with a pale green tinge, the wine may appear slightly hazy. This is evidence that the juice and wine were handled with absolute minimal intervention. Aromas of ripe eshy peach, apricot, and mango lead to notes of mineral-infused honeysuckle and toasted hazelnut.
